On average, therapy sessions last 45-50 minutes.

What is “Psychotherapy?”

Psychotherapy, also called “Therapy” or “Counseling,” is a process through which clients work with a trained professional in a safe, supportive, and caring environment to improve overall emotional and well-being.

What type of therapy do you offer?

We offer individual, couples, and family therapy, specializing in Women’s Issues, LGBTQIA Affirming Care, and Helping Professionals.

What type of consulting do you offer?

We offer emotional and well-being services to agencies that employ Helping Professionals (Social Workers, Educators, Therapists, Healthcare Workers, etc.) through clinical training, strategic planning, and crisis debriefing.

Can an individual employee schedule clinical training?

We offer clinical training, strategic planning, and crisis debriefing to professional entities. Therefore, individual employees interested in our services should provide our contact information to the company’s immediate Supervisor or CEO.

We will discuss the details and specifics of what the company wishes to achieve from the services and develop a service contract with the Supervisor or CEO.

How long will I have to attend therapy?

We use an individualized approach to therapy; therefore, there is no set answer for the overall length of time a person will be in therapy.

Treatment length varies for each individual but typically runs anywhere from four to six sessions to a year. Individuals attend on a weekly, biweekly, or monthly basis, as well as additional sessions as needed in the time of a crisis.

Together, we’ll develop a customized plan that works best for you.

To cry or not to cry?

We welcome you to feel and show whatever emotions come up during our sessions. It’s normal to cry during therapy because we’ll be exploring a variety of emotions. We encourage you to cry, scream (as long as you aren’t at work), laugh, dance, breathe deeply – whatever makes you feel comfortable.

Can you hear me now?

Remember the Verizon Wireless ads? Can you hear me now???

Because we’re using a virtual platform, we might experience a slight delay in our responses. If our Internet connection becomes unstable, the screen may occasionally freeze for a second or two.

These hiccups are unavoidable, so ensuring that you have a good WiFi connection and patience is key.

It would also be helpful to be in a quiet, comfortable, and well-lighted setting.

Is the earth flat or round?

Who knows?!?

But what we do know is that we are ALL human, and that’s what matters!

We all want peace, love, and happiness for ourselves as well as others.

The only thing that we ask of you is to be open to and responsible for the energy that you bring.
