About

There’s no light at the end of the tunnel…

You probably never thought you’d be at this place in life. Frozen in time. Getting more and more discouraged as life events – birthdays, anniversaries, graduations – come and go.

It’s like you’re on the outside – looking in at someone else’s life.

You’ve lost your light, your spark, your purpose.

Your why.

It’s a dark, lonely, and unfulfilled space.

Used by friends, judged by society, you’ve maxed out your energy for the last time. The mere thought of being stressed at work and unhappy at home one more minute overwhelms you.

The anxiety, depression, and exhaustion of it all have left you entirely empty inside – you can’t even feel anymore.

And you can’t figure out how to get out of this deep dark pit.

Ready to get your spark back?

There is light at the end of the tunnel! Together, we’ll work to reclaim it!

“Talking it out” is a powerful tool; and together, we’ll discover how to do it comfortably.

Together, we’ll explore coping skills needed to change your life for the better.

We’ll recreate your narrative in ways that will manifest purpose in every part of your life.

You will find your spark again.

There is hope, and your path to finding your spark again is awaiting you. We’ll identify what’s been holding you back and make space for you to work fully through it.

Let’s get rid of all the negative spaces to allow room for all things positive. Together, we’ll redefine what makes you happy.

You’ll leave feeling alive, free, and in control of your happiness!

You have something amazing to share with the world – you just need a little help to bring it to light.

About Me

My passion rests in helping, encouraging, and empowering you to experience yourself differently. I specialize in Dialectical Behavior Therapy which allows me to share skills that are easy to learn and incorporate into daily living.

I have over 20 years of experience working with diverse groups, including children and families, adoptive/foster parents, at-risk-youth, sexually and physically abused children, young adult offenders, social service professionals, and the LGBTQ community.

My core practice includes a holistic, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed approach. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and my Master of Social Work from Tennessee State University.

Outside my work as a therapist, I’m a wife, a mother and striving to be a good human.

I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to the waves on the beach, reading a book for pleasure, and taking time to do absolutely nothing but listen to myself breathe.
